Fixed Asset Tags

Fixed Asset TagsIf you are a military contractor, aerospace contractor, or other business in need of fixed asset tags, Data Graphics would love to partner with you to fill all your tag and labeling needs.   Fixed asset tags are required in many lines of manufacturing and are used voluntarily in others.  The Department of Defense requires that all of its property must be labeled with tags (whether or not they are stored or kept on DoD sites) bearing a unique identification designation code, which is very similar to the Universal Product Code barcodes on products in retail and grocery stores.  The DoD’s regulations regarding these tags placed on its portable and fixed assets (hence, fixed asset tags) can be found in the Mil-Spec 130 STD regulations.  These regulations specify the materials acceptable for the manufacture of fixed asset tags.

Fixed Asset TagsData Graphics has extensive experience in assisting companies with the efforts to stay in compliance with these standards and regulations and any of their helpful and knowledgeable sales professionals can help walk you through what is and what is not in compliance with Mil-Spec 130 STD.  We have serviced the labeling needs of businesses in the military contracting, aerospace contracting, medical, technology and industrial fields for over a quarter of a century and have the know-how and expertise needed to handle any fixed asset tags needs of your company.  Working from our 25,000 square foot production facility in Mount Dora, Florida (a suburb of Orlando), we can make fixed asset tags and any number of other labeling solutions for your company from pre-approved materials in any shape you need, designed to withstand the working environment your product has to perform in as well as be tamper resistant.

Fixed Asset TagsNo fixed asset tags or labels are doing anyone any good  if either of two things happens.  The first is, obviously, if the tag becomes separated from the product it was intended to label.  For this reason, Data Graphics has a number of approved means of affixing your tags to your property in such a manner that the two will not become separated.  In many cases, this means screwing or riveting an aluminum tag onto the product.  The second hazard that must be avoided is the failure of the fixed asset tags or other labels to remain legible.  If the information it carries becomes impossible to read, it has failed.  Data Graphics makes a wide range of labels with coatings or made of materials that can stand up to the same abuse you have had to design your product to withstand.  No matter how harsh a working environment your product must perform in, our tags and labels have to perform right along side.  We have labels and tags that can resist extremes of cold and heat, corrosive chemical contact, abrasion, impact, exposure to salt water and sunlight and remain legible for the working life of your product.  Call Data Graphics today to see how we can best meet your fixed asset tag needs.
