Mylar labels can be found on drilling and safety equipment used in the arctic. They are used in the desert heat faced by our military. One of the most extreme examples of the durability of Mylar labels is their use in the aircraft and aerospace industries. A mylar label used in a typical commercial airliner must perform at the temperature at ground level, then is forced to perform in the freezing temperatures of flight. This process is performed over and over, day after day and year after year. The same can be said for space flight, only at more dramatic levels. Labels made of Mylar are a good choice if your equipment will be subjected to extremes of cold and hot temperature.
