May 23, 2013, Mount Dora, FL - After an extensive search for a contractor, Data Graphics has chosen RB Marks Construction for its latest project.  Data Graphics is revamping ~ 14,000 square feet of its manufacturing space to make room for new equipment and implement more lean manufacturing practices.  After experiencing solid growth for the past several years, Data Graphics is working towards creating an even more efficient shop floor for its manufacturing process and will increase its capacity and throughput.

With lean practices in mind, Data Graphics is also looking at "green" environmentally friendly products.  From production flow to updated lighting and flooring, the whole manufacturing space is going to be re-engineered.

May 17, 2013 - Today, Data Graphics is supporting the Eustis High School Boosters.  The Boosters are raising money for its Varsity Sports Teams, with a goal of raising $500 per team. Data Graphics is buying a BBQ lunch for all its employees, which is being cooked by the Boosters as a fundraiser.

Tiffany Kendrick, Production Control Specialist at Data Graphics, Cheerleading Coach, and avid supporter of Eustis High School Sports, said, "We appreciate Data Graphics supporting the sports teams at Eustis High School.  Many of the employees have children who are playing on the Varisty Teams and we have a lot of Eustis High School graduates here at Data Graphics."

May 10, 2013 - Mount Dora, FL - Data Graphics takes safety of its employees very seriously.  Recently, during one of our routine safety meetings, we educated and trained all of the employees on fire safety and evacuation.  We also challenged each of them to a timed event to put out a controlled fire.  Run under the supervision of a retired Orlando Firefighter, all employees had a chance to put out a fire using the extinguisher. 

Kelly Chanley, Purchasing, was the winner at under 3 seconds!  Way to go Kelly!  Kelly Chanley stated, "I am so glad that Data Graphics takes the time to train and educate us not only on the business side, but also that they put the safety and well being of the employees as a priority."

May 3, 2013 - Mount Dora, FL - Data Graphics recently expanded its operations by 5,000 square feet.  The first phase was to move our administrative and sales team.  This was completed in April 2013.  Our coming phases include expanding our production space, which means more capacity to support our growth and customer orders.  Director of Manufacturing Liz Minson said, "Our whole team is excited for the increased space.  This will enable us to continue in our growth mode and allow more product to flow thru the facility.  Our production team is sales conscious and this enables us to serve our customers demands more efficiently."
